A popular faith-based social media influencer died Friday morning following a multi-vehicle collision in Lehi, according to local law enforcement officials.
Chandler David Hendry, 27, was killed in the three-vehicle crash that occurred on Friday, August 7, 2026. The Lehi Police Department confirmed his death and stated that the incident remains under active investigation.
According to a spokesperson for the Lehi Police Department, witnesses at the scene reported that Hendry ran a red light before colliding with two other vehicles, TMZ.com reported. Authorities also confirmed that Hendry was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Emergency responders transported Hendry to a local hospital, where medical personnel pronounced him dead. Police confirmed that no occupants of the other two vehicles involved in the collision sustained injuries.
Hendry had cultivated a substantial online following through his Christian-focused social media platform called "Restored Truth." As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he regularly shared content centered on his faith and religious beliefs with his audience.
The influencer's sudden death has prompted an outpouring of support from his community. His parents and wife Analynn established a GoFundMe campaign to help cover expenses related to his unexpected passing. The fundraising effort has collected more than $60,000 toward its $80,000 goal.
The Lehi Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision. Authorities have not released additional details about the crash at this time.
