'The Oval' Star Travis Cure Fights Ex's STD Lawsuit

Travis Cure, an actor known for his role on the television series 'The Oval,' is defending himself against a lawsuit filed by a former partner who claims he transmitted genital herpes to her, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

The woman, identified in the documents as Travis' alleged former partner, states that she began dating him in August 2024. She asserts that she had no other sexual partners from that time until she filed the lawsuit. She further alleges that Travis was aware of his genital herpes diagnosis but did not disclose it before they engaged in sexual activity. The lawsuit accuses him of negligence and battery.

In his response, Travis acknowledges that he did date the woman but contends that their relationship was not 'exclusive on either side.' He maintains that he used a condom during their sexual encounters. Additionally, he claims that she resides in Chicago and was sexually active with other men during the relevant period.

Travis also asserts that his ex was aware of his herpes status, and he suggests that her complaint arose only after he ended the relationship and began dating someone new. He argues that she cannot prove he transmitted the virus to her given what he describes as her 'promiscuous sexual practices.'

The legal battle remains ongoing. No further details about the case or its potential impact on Travis' career have been released.
