Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were photographed enjoying a romantic evening in London on Thursday, May 7, as the engaged couple continues to balance their high-profile careers with their personal relationship.
The pair, both 36 years old, departed the Indian restaurant Gymkhana hand-in-hand, according to photographs obtained by TMZ. The couple demonstrated their coordinated fashion sense, each wearing charcoal blazers for the occasion. Swift paired her coat with a black and floral dress, while Kelce wore trousers and a black T-shirt.
The London outing represents another example of how Swift has influenced Kelce's lifestyle choices, particularly regarding his culinary preferences. During the Wednesday, May 6, episode of their "New Heights" podcast, Travis Kelce's brother, Jason Kelce, acknowledged this evolution in his sibling's eating habits.
"I feel like Taylor has expanded your [palate]," Jason said, referencing Travis' previously selective approach to food. The Kansas City Chiefs player responded with humor, explaining he was "trying to act like more of a man" by "eating foods" he has never tried before while dining out with his fiancée.
The couple's relationship reached a significant milestone in August 2025, when Kelce proposed to Swift after two years of dating. The pop star announced the engagement on Instagram with a lighthearted caption: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," alongside photographs of the tight end down on one knee.
Since their engagement, Swift and Kelce have prioritized their respective professional commitments before diving into extensive wedding preparations. During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show in October 2025, Swift addressed her approach to planning the ceremony.
"I'm just doing the album thing now, which is a big thing," Swift said, referring to her latest album Life of a Showgirl. "I think the wedding is what happens after that in the scheme of the planning, but I'm so excited about it. I know it's gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble."
According to Us Weekly, the couple has begun making concrete plans for their nuptials, though their vision for the event has evolved. A source told the publication in an April cover story that the pair has reconsidered the scale of their celebration.
"They've gone back and forth between inviting everyone and keeping it small and private," the source stated. "As of now, they've scaled it down. It's no longer going to be a massive blowout."
Kelce recently expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming wedding during a conversation with golfer Rory McIlroy. The professional golfer drew a comparison between the Masters Champions Dinner and a wedding celebration, describing both as surreal experiences where meaningful people gather in one room.
"It's an incredible night to be sitting in that room," McIlroy said of the Masters dinner last month. "It's a bit like — and Travis, you'll feel this this year whenever you're sitting at your wedding — you have all the people in a room … it's amazing to have all these people in the same room. You're just sitting there and it's surreal. It's unbelievable. The only thing I can compare it to is your wedding day because it's this collection of people in the same room."
Kelce's response was succinct and heartfelt: "I can't wait."
