Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport is addressing her personal life following a highly publicized separation, revealing that she has found joy in a new relationship while focusing on her own personal growth.
Speaking to E! News on Monday, May 4, ahead of the 2026 Met Gala, Newport, 40, acknowledged the challenges of navigating personal matters in the public eye. "It's tricky to go through anything in public, and a separation, also, there's lots of emotions and it's really layered and nuanced," she stated. "It's been really joyful and happy to have somebody new in my life."
The Bravo personality emphasized her commitment to self-discovery during this transitional period. "I think my best advice for anybody figuring themselves out is to figure yourself out, so I'm also pretty focused on just Bronwyn," she added.
Newport's comments come several months after news emerged in December 2025 that she and husband Todd Bradley had separated after nine years of marriage. Bradley is 26 years her senior. According to a statement from her representative at the time, the decision was reached amicably. "This was a mutual decision made with care and respect for one another," the statement confirmed. "They ask for privacy during this time."
The separation did not immediately result in separate living arrangements. In January, Newport revealed that she and Bradley were continuing to share their home in an unconventional co-parenting arrangement for their pets. "We might be the only people in the world who don't have young children who are nesting, but we're doing it for our dogs," she told People, referring to their five dogs: Douglas, Zoe, Remy, Petey and Freddie. Newport has a daughter, Gwen, 20, from a previous relationship.
By February of this year, Newport had begun a new relationship with model Brandon Good. A source told Us Weekly exclusively that the reality star appeared transformed by the new romance. "Bronwyn seems very happy and has this aura about her," the source stated. "She is glowing."
According to the insider, Newport met Good through mutual connections in the fashion industry before they began dating. "She is enjoying herself and having fun right now," the source added. "They are super cute together, and he is very protective over her in an endearing way."
Newport's appearance at the Met Gala on Monday represented a significant public moment as she continues to navigate her personal transformation. She wore a Kevin Germanier floral gown to the prestigious event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. During her interview, Newport quipped that "new romance or not" she's the "most in love" with her Met Gala look.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star was recruited to participate on the Live From E! Met Gala fashion panel alongside Justin Sylvester, Keltie Knight, Zanna Roberts Rassi, Ciara Miller, Renee Montgomery, Chris Appleton and Christian Siriano, further cementing her presence in both reality television and fashion circles.
As Newport continues to balance her public profile with personal growth, her candid approach to discussing her separation and new relationship offers insight into the complexities of navigating major life transitions while maintaining a career in the public spotlight.
