Patrick Clancy, the ex-husband of Lindsay Clancy, states that he continues to communicate with his three deceased children — Cora, Dawson and Callan — on a daily basis, according to a teaser for an upcoming "60 Minutes" interview reported by TMZ.com.

In the preview, Patrick Clancy indicated that he asks his late children for "help" and speaks with them "all the time," as reported by TMZ.com. The full interview is scheduled to air on Sunday.

The disclosure arrives against a backdrop of online conspiracy theories that have emerged during Lindsay Clancy's murder case. Some internet users have alleged that Patrick Clancy framed Lindsay Clancy for the children's murders. However, Lindsay Clancy has already admitted to the slayings, with her legal team asserting that she was experiencing a psychosis-fueled blackout at the time of the murders.

Lindsay Clancy's attorney, Kevin Reddington, has attempted to curb the online hostility directed at Patrick Clancy, who has remarried and relocated from Massachusetts to New York. Patrick Clancy testified in Lindsay Clancy's defense and appeared stressed during the trial, according to observations from the courtroom.

Reddington participated in an interview with "CBS Mornings" last week, during which he addressed the situation. "I just think that it's horrific what this man has been going through, and he's entitled to move on with his life," Reddington told the hosts. "And the fact that he's moved on with his life and still is standing by Lindsay, as far as the legal issues tells the tale."

The interview with Patrick Clancy is set to provide further insight into his perspective when it airs on Sunday.
