North West marked Father's Day on Sunday, June 21, by sharing rare photographs with her father, Kanye West, through her Instagram Stories. The 13-year-old posted throwback images that offered a glimpse into their relationship and her involvement in his creative projects.

The first photograph showed North standing beside Kanye, 49, both wearing dark-colored full-coverage facial masks reminiscent of those featured during the musician's 2021 Donda album rollout. North paired her mask with a bulletproof vest bearing the word "Donda" across the front, while Kanye wore a similar vest. The image captured North looking up at her father in a moment that reflected the aesthetic of that creative period, when Kanye and models wore various full-coverage masks as part of the album's visual presentation.

North captioned the photograph "Happy Father's Day" before posting a second throwback image from an earlier time when she assisted Kanye in planning one of his runway shows. Both posts featured musical accompaniment from Kanye's catalog: "Wolves" from his 2016 album The Life of Pablo and "Say You Will" from his 2008 release 808s & Heartbreak.

The posts represent a rare public acknowledgment of their father-daughter relationship. North seldom shares photographs of time spent with Kanye on social media, making the Father's Day tribute particularly notable for followers of the family.

Kim Kardashian, 45, who shares North with Kanye, also observed Father's Day through her own Instagram Stories on Sunday. However, her posts focused on her late father, Robert Kardashian, rather than her former husband. Kim shared photographs of handmade cards she created as a child, including one that read "Happy Father's Day! Love, Kimberly."

A second card displayed the message: "Dad, I just want you to know how much I appreciate everything you do for me. I love working for you. I love you and happy Father's Day! Kimberley." Kim captioned the post "He saved every card I wrote him," honoring Robert Kardashian, who died in 2003 at age 59. Kim had worked for her father at his cinema music business during her youth.

The separate Father's Day tributes from North and Kim highlighted different paternal relationships within the family, with North choosing to publicly celebrate her bond with Kanye while Kim reflected on memories of her own father.
