Nicki Minaj is lending her platform to the Republican midterm effort, telling young Americans that casting a ballot this fall is essential. The New York rapper made the pitch during a Saturday night appearance on Fox News' "My View with Lara Trump," turning her attention squarely to the November 3rd elections.

According to TMZ.com, Minaj urged the nation's youth to "vote red now!" during the interview with Lara Trump.

The performer pushed back on the idea that young people's ballots carry little weight, telling viewers their "voice is very necessary right now for the country and for the world," per TMZ.com. She also argued that young voters matter beyond presidential cycles, noting they will "reap the benefits of whatever vote decisions we make now."

When the conversation shifted to President Trump, Minaj offered a warm assessment, describing him as a "very authentic person" and asserting that "everyone loves him," TMZ.com reported.

The alliance is not new. Minaj has been a prominent supporter of the president for some time, and Trump has returned the praise, calling her a "fantastic person" and "so hot." More recently, she took part in the Small Business Administration's Patriot Pitch Competition, serving as a celebrity judge.

The interview lands as both parties compete for younger voters ahead of the November 3rd contests, with celebrity endorsements continuing to shape the messaging battle.
