Former Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein broke her silence on Monday, June 22, following the dismissal of criminal charges against her and boyfriend Jody Glidden in a high-profile eavesdropping case involving her ex-husband.

The 43-year-old reality television personality shared her reaction via Instagram Story, expressing gratitude that the legal ordeal had concluded. She wrote that all charges had been dropped and emphasized that the accusations never should have been filed in the first place. Hochstein further noted that the case had significantly affected her family, describing it as a burden from which she was now free.

The Bravo personality also shared news coverage of the dismissal, captioning the post with a single word: "Justice."

Hochstein and Glidden faced arrest in April in connection with criminal charges related to her ex-husband, Leonard "Lenny" Hochstein. Court documents accused the pair of unlawfully and intentionally attempting to secretly record oral statements by Lenny Hochstein and those with whom he spoke between March 12 and March 31, 2023.

Court documents obtained by media outlets confirmed that the criminal case against Hochstein and Glidden, 52, was officially closed on Monday after both completed a pretrial diversion program. According to reports, Hochstein completed the program on Thursday, June 18, while Glidden finished on Tuesday, June 16.

"We are pleased the charges against Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden have been dismissed and they can move forward with their lives," their attorneys told People on Monday.

The couple reached an agreement with prosecutors in May to resolve charges of interception of wire, oral or electronic communications without prosecution. Their legal representatives confirmed at that time that all charges would be dismissed in mid-June without any admission of guilt or conviction.

The pretrial diversion program represents an alternative to prosecution offered by the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office. According to NBC News Miami, the program provides offenders with non-violent priors a viable alternative to a criminal conviction. The initiative serves criminal defendants by allowing them to make significant changes in their lives to avoid further involvement with the criminal justice system. Participants enter the program voluntarily, and upon completing all conditions while remaining arrest-free during participation, the State Attorney's Office drops the charges.

At the time of their arrest, a spokesperson for Lisa and Glidden characterized the matter as part of a contentious divorce proceeding that did not belong in criminal court.

Lisa was married to plastic surgeon Lenny from 2009 to 2024. The former couple shares two children: son Logan Marc, 10, and daughter Elle Marie, 6.

Viewers of Real Housewives of Miami will not witness this legal drama unfold on screen, as Bravo placed the franchise on pause earlier this year. Executive producer Andy Cohen addressed the decision during the March 23 episode of SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live, clarifying that the pause was not his decision and expressing his preference for continuous production of the franchise. He acknowledged the passionate fan response and noted that television remains a ratings-driven business.
