Actress Janel Parrish has been photographed dancing with Dancing With the Stars professional Sasha Farber amid reports that her eight-year marriage to Chris Long has ended.
On Thursday, April 9, Farber shared a video to his Instagram Story showing the 37-year-old Pretty Little Liars alum dancing with him in a parking lot. The 41-year-old dance professional captioned the post, "She's still got it @janelparrish 🔥."
Parrish reshared the clip on her own Instagram Story, writing, "When you ask @sashafarber1 to teach you a dance in the parking lot."
The social media exchange occurred on the same day sources confirmed to multiple outlets that Parrish and Long have separated after eight years of marriage. According to insiders, the couple has been separated for several months, though the split had not been publicly announced until this week.
Earlier on Thursday, celebrity gossip site DeuxMoi shared photographs of Parrish and Long together inside Black Market Liquor Bar in Los Angeles' Studio City, adding to speculation about the status of their relationship.
A Relationship That Began at Dave and Buster's
Parrish and Long began their relationship in September 2016, with the actress later revealing that their first date took place at Dave and Buster's. The couple announced their engagement in 2017 after one year of dating.
At the time of their engagement, Parrish wrote on Instagram, "Went to the park for a stroll with Klee and came back with a fiancé. I get to marry my best friend and I'm over the moon. I love you @c_long."
The couple married in Hawaii in September 2018 in a ceremony attended by several of Parrish's former colleagues, including Pretty Little Liar's Brendan Robinson and I. Marlene King, as well as Bratz: The Movie costars Logan Browning and Natalia Ramos.
Speaking about the wedding at the time, Parrish stated, "We feel so lucky we found each other in this crazy world. Marrying my dream man in my home of Hawaii surrounded by family and friends was a dream."
Dancing With the Stars Connection
Parrish and Farber both appeared on season 19 of Dancing With the Stars, which aired in 2014. The Hallmark star competed on the show partnered with professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy, while Farber was part of the reality television program's dance troupe. That season featured eventual winner Alfonso Ribeiro and runner-up Sadie Robertson.
Farber himself was previously married to fellow Dancing With the Stars professional Emma Slater from 2018 to 2024. The divorced couple has maintained an amicable relationship, recently posting a lighthearted TikTok video in March addressing criticism over their friendly post-divorce dynamic.
In that video, Slater, 37, wrote in the caption, "If you can't handle that exes can be mature and can be friends, I'm sending you love and positive vibes but I also know it's not my problem to solve. Meant with love, I've just healed, moved on from that."
