The 42-year-old reality television star addressed the speculation directly via her Instagram Story on Sunday, March 15, writing "bad reporting" over an article that claimed she had flashed an engagement ring on her wedding finger. The photographs in question were taken at HGTV's Bachelor Mansion Takeover event on Thursday, March 12.
Haack provided clarification regarding the ring visible in multiple photographs from the HGTV event. "That ring (that I've worn for almost 10 years) is a Cartier love ring (a gift to myself) with my kids initials," the television personality explained. The jewelry piece, which she has owned for nearly a decade, holds personal significance as it bears the initials of her three children.
The reality star also corrected misrepresentations of her statements regarding marriage. During the March 12 red carpet event, Haack stated that "marriage is just not on my radar right now," a quote she emphasized was her exact position on the matter. This statement stands in contrast to headlines suggesting she was actively considering matrimony.
Haack attended the HGTV event with her boyfriend Christopher Larocca, 53, with whom she went public in January 2025. Speaking about their relationship, Haack stated, "Chris is always very supportive. He's just a nice, easy man to be around, and I love having him here."
