Priya Jain, former girlfriend of actor Eric Dane, opened up about her ongoing grief following the actor's death from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis last month. Speaking outside The Abbey, a West Hollywood establishment, late Friday night, Jain expressed that she continues to process her emotions surrounding the loss.

When asked about her feelings approximately one month after Dane's passing, Jain acknowledged the difficulty of articulating her grief. She indicated she remains uncertain about what to say, though she emphasized that her memories of the actor are entirely positive. Jain also expressed appreciation for how Dane's children are preserving his legacy and extended her best wishes to his family during this difficult period.

The entrepreneur demonstrated her support for Dane's family in a tangible way, contributing $10,000 toward medical expenses. The family reportedly received substantial support from the community, including both financial donations and expressions of sympathy, as they navigated the costs associated with his illness and final care.

Jain and Dane maintained a romantic relationship from mid-2024 through mid-2025. According to sources, the former couple reconnected shortly before his death, suggesting they had maintained a meaningful connection despite the conclusion of their romantic relationship.

Dane's battle with ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, brought attention to the devastating impact of the illness on patients and their loved ones. The disease gradually robs individuals of their ability to control muscle movement, and there is currently no cure.

The public response to Dane's passing underscores the impact he had on both his personal circle and the broader community. Jain's willingness to speak about her grief, even while acknowledging its complexity, reflects the ongoing process many experience when processing the loss of someone significant in their lives.
