Eva Marcille, a former cast member of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,' is the target of a new lawsuit filed by the homeowners association for the Atlanta neighborhood where she owns a five-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion valued at $1.8 million, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
The association contends that Marcille has been cited repeatedly for failing to meet the community's upkeep requirements. Among the alleged violations are untreated weeds, an unmowed lawn, inoperable vehicles left in the driveway, lapsed vehicle registration, and trash receptacles kept in public view.
According to the complaint, Marcille received ample time to correct the problems and bring the property into compliance, but the association says the issues remain unresolved.
The HOA is now pursuing more than $22,000 in past assessments and fines. It is also asking a judge to compel Marcille to address the alleged violations and adhere to the neighborhood's maintenance standards promptly.
Marcille has not yet responded to the lawsuit. The case highlights the ongoing tension between homeowners and association rules in Atlanta's residential communities, where maintenance standards are enforced through fines and legal action.
