Pop superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce stepped into the spotlight together at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Thursday, March 26, offering a glimpse into their relationship as they continue planning their upcoming wedding.

The engaged couple, both 36, appeared visibly affectionate at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, posing for photographers and sharing intimate moments throughout the evening. Swift wore a pale green corset paired with a matching mini skirt, while Kelce opted for a leather jacket over a black shirt.

The appearance marks a significant public outing for the pair, who announced their engagement via social media in August 2025 after two years of dating. Swift's Instagram caption announcing the news read: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."

During an October 2025 appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Swift praised Kelce's proposal execution, revealing elaborate details about the romantic gesture. "He really crushed it in surprising me. While we were talking on his podcast, he had a complete garden built out the back of his house to propose in," she explained. "He went all out — 10 out of 10."

According to sources who spoke with media outlets in September 2025, the couple has entered the early planning stages for their wedding, expected to take place sometime in 2026. No venue or specific location has been confirmed publicly. Sources indicated Swift is enjoying the creative process of researching potential venues and locations for the celebration.

The relationship, which began in summer 2023, has been characterized by mutual public support. Swift has attended numerous Kansas City Chiefs games, including the 2024 and 2025 Super Bowl championships. Kelce has reciprocated by attending multiple stops on Swift's Eras Tour, including a memorable appearance on stage with her during a London performance.

Swift addressed the public nature of their relationship in a December 2023 interview with TIME magazine. "When you say a relationship is public, that means I'm going to see him do what he loves, we're showing up for each other, other people are there and we don't care," she stated.

The relationship has also influenced Swift's artistic output. Her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, released in April 2024, featured two songs believed to reference Kelce. Her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, released in early October 2025, contains several tracks rumored to be about the relationship, including "The Fate of Ophelia," "Wood," and "Elizabeth Taylor."

The iHeartRadio Music Awards appearance represents one of the couple's few formal public outings together, demonstrating their commitment to balancing private life with professional obligations and public interest in their high-profile relationship.
