Drew Dodson has broken his silence following allegations that he engaged in inappropriate behavior with Allie Eklund, the girlfriend of Steven McBee Jr., during the Stagecoach music festival. In an Instagram Story posted on Tuesday, April 29, 2026, Dodson firmly denied the cheating claims that have circulated widely on social media.

Dodson stated that he had not initially intended to address the controversy publicly but felt compelled to respond after the situation "took on a life of its own" online. According to his statement, he attended Stagecoach with a large group of friends, including individuals he has known for years, and was simply enjoying the festival atmosphere like other attendees.

"I was at Stagecoach with a big group of friends, including someone I've known for years," Dodson wrote in his Instagram Story, emphasizing that he was "enjoying the night like everyone else." He expressed frustration that the evening was "turned into public accusations about both of us without any conversation or attempt to actually understand what happened."

Dodson was unequivocal in his denial, stating, "The reality is simple ... I was there with friends, nothing more." He indicated that he has no interest in prolonging the public dispute and simply wants to "clear the air and keep it moving."

The controversy began when Steven McBee Jr. claimed he ended his relationship with Allie Eklund after departing Stagecoach early. McBee Jr. alleged that he subsequently received direct messages, phone calls, and video evidence purportedly showing Eklund in close proximity to another man, later identified as Dodson. According to McBee Jr., witnesses reported "handholding, grinding, dancing" and a "drunken stupor" at an afterparty, though he acknowledged he does not have firsthand knowledge of what transpired.

Allie Eklund has also denied the cheating allegations. She expressed disappointment that McBee Jr. made the accusations public before the two could have a private conversation, particularly given what she describes as her efforts to protect him throughout their relationship. Eklund stated that she initially hesitated to respond publicly due to concerns about how McBee Jr. might react emotionally, but ultimately felt compelled to address the situation after he went public with his claims. She has indicated a desire to de-escalate the conflict and move forward.

The public nature of this dispute highlights the challenges that arise when personal relationships intersect with social media visibility. All three parties involved have now made their positions known through online platforms, with each offering differing accounts of the events at Stagecoach. The situation underscores how quickly private matters can become public spectacles in the digital age, often before those involved have the opportunity to address issues privately.
