The financial troubles facing a Temecula restaurant co-owned by actor Dean Norris and his estranged wife, Bridget Norris, have been laid out in new bankruptcy filings. Swing Inn Cafe, which the couple purchased in 2022, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last month, according to court documents reported by TMZ.com.
The filings show the restaurant holds $147,000 in assets while carrying liabilities exceeding $1.8 million. Revenue has declined sharply in recent years: Swing Inn Cafe recorded approximately $6.8 million in gross revenue for 2024, $5.9 million in 2025, and $4.1 million so far in 2026. The bankruptcy reportedly followed a drop in business after social media attention to the restaurant faded following 2025.
Among the debts listed in the bankruptcy documents is approximately $293,000 owed to Sysco, a food supply company serving restaurants, along with roughly $16,000 owed to a California bakery and other unpaid balances.
In a recent court filing, Bridget Norris requested that the court permit the company to fund payroll, warning that the business will be ruined otherwise. She expressed concern that employees will quit if they are not paid, and that the restaurant would then be unable to operate, causing revenues to fall even further. The case remains ongoing.
The bankruptcy is not the only challenge for the couple. As TMZ.com first reported, Dean and Bridget Norris have recently separated. Bridget Norris filed for divorce in 2025 after more than 23 years of marriage and five children together, and she has requested spousal support.
For Temecula residents, the case highlights the precarious position of a local dining establishment that once drew attention beyond the region. The outcome of the bankruptcy proceedings will determine whether Swing Inn Cafe can continue operating and meet its payroll obligations.
