The breakup of Chrishell Stause and G Flip, announced by Stause in an emotional video on Monday, has drawn reaction from the cast of "Selling Sunset" — and according to sources close to the cast, the split was not unexpected. TMZ reported on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, that cast members were not surprised when G Flip ended the spiritual marriage.
Sources told TMZ that Stause has a "mean side" and has had falling outs with nearly every member of the cast. Those sources also said Stause has lost almost all contact with her former co-stars since leaving the show. By contrast, the same sources said everyone loved G Flip and consistently found G to be genuinely kind.
What prompted the breakup remains unclear. Sources close to the situation previously told TMZ that G initiated the split. TMZ also previously reported that the spiritual marriage was never officially legal, despite multiple wedding ceremonies.
Fellow "Selling Sunset" star Bre Tiesi addressed the split during an appearance on "TMZ Live" on Tuesday, offering her perspective on the breakup and a prediction about whether Stause would date a man again. Jason Oppenheim, Stause's ex and former boss, also reached out to offer her support, according to the report.
The cast's reaction underscores the distance that sources say has grown between Stause and her former colleagues since her departure from the series, while G Flip remains well regarded among the group.
