Bruno Mars has secured seven MTV Video Music Awards nominations this year, TMZ.com reported on Thursday, September 24, 2026. The recognition adds another milestone to a career defined by a string of commercially successful singles.
Among the songs that have defined Mars' catalog are "Uptown Funk," "Just The Way You Are," and "Locked Out of Heaven," which TMZ.com cited as a few examples of the hits he has released over the course of his career.
The nominations place Mars among the most recognized artists at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, though the full list of nominees and categories was not detailed in the initial report.
The MTV Video Music Awards, which honor achievement in music videos, remain a prominent fixture in the pop music calendar. Mars' seven nominations reflect his continued presence in the industry, more than a decade after many of the songs cited by TMZ.com were first released.
Further details about the nominations and the awards ceremony were not immediately available.
