Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. is facing a civil theft lawsuit filed by his former girlfriend, who alleges he has withheld her personal belongings for over a year following the end of their relationship.
Holly Means filed court documents alleging that Brown has refused to return property she left behind when their long-term relationship ended in June 2025. According to the lawsuit, Means lived with Brown and their two children at his Ohio residence until he allegedly forced her to leave without advance notice, preventing her from collecting all of her possessions.
The complaint states that some of Means' belongings are now located in Oklahoma and Kansas City, and she claims Brown has actively blocked her attempts to retrieve them, including items stored in a storage unit. The lawsuit alleges Brown is acting out of anger and spite over both the breakup and her decision to relocate with their children to Oregon.
In January 2026, Means attempted to collect her property with police assistance, according to the filing. She alleges that Brown refused to answer the door despite being aware of the reason for her visit.
Means is seeking more than $25,000 in damages, the return of her property, and punitive damages. The lawsuit claims Brown acted with ill will or a spirit of revenge in withholding her belongings.
Brown has denied any wrongdoing in the matter. He contends that Means arrived at his home unannounced after he had requested she not visit. His legal response argues that she abandoned the property by leaving it behind when she departed following their separation. Brown is seeking dismissal of the case with prejudice.
