Arizona SWAT Raid in Guthrie Case Yields No Connection, Attorney Confirms

An Arizona residence subjected to a SWAT team raid in connection with the Nancy Guthrie missing person investigation has yielded no apparent connection to the case, according to the attorney representing the property's occupants.

Luke Daley, an Arizona resident, and his mother were detained by law enforcement officials on Friday while authorities executed two search warrants at their residence. Attorney Chris Scileppi, representing Daley, confirmed that neither his client nor his mother were arrested during the operation and emphasized that they possess no information regarding Guthrie's disappearance.

"Like the entire Tucson community, both Mr. Daley and his mother are hopeful that Nancy will be returned to her family unharmed," Scileppi stated in his official comments regarding the incident.

The search operation, which lasted several hours, took place at a residence located approximately two miles from Guthrie's home. Law enforcement personnel removed two individuals from the property during the execution of the warrants. The Pima County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the warrant was issued based on a lead in the ongoing investigation.

The development comes amid heightened public interest in the case, with online speculation having previously identified Daley as a potential suspect. However, Scileppi firmly stated that his client has no connection whatsoever to Guthrie or her case.

Guthrie has been missing throughout the entire month, prompting an extensive investigation by local authorities. The case has generated significant attention within the Tucson community, with law enforcement pursuing multiple leads in their efforts to locate the missing woman.

The execution of search warrants represents standard investigative procedure in missing person cases, particularly when authorities receive tips or leads that require follow-up action. While this particular raid did not produce actionable results, investigators continue to pursue all available avenues in their search for Guthrie.

The Pima County Sheriff's Office has not released additional details regarding other investigative efforts or whether additional search warrants have been executed in connection with the case. Authorities continue to encourage anyone with information regarding Guthrie's whereabouts to contact local law enforcement immediately.
