Anna Delvey, the infamous con artist whose exploits captivated the nation, faced unique logistical challenges while filming a new reality competition series in Park City, Utah. Despite appearing alongside her fellow contestants in the show's cabin setting, Delvey was prohibited from staying in the same accommodations as the rest of the cast due to restrictions imposed by her ongoing parole agreement.

The reality series, titled 'Unwell Winter Games' and created by podcast host Alex Cooper of 'Call Her Daddy,' features Delvey prominently displaying her court-ordered ankle monitoring bracelet while participating in activities with other cast members. However, sources close to the production confirmed that Delvey was housed in a separate hotel located minutes away from the primary filming location where her castmates resided.

According to individuals familiar with the production, Delvey attempted to obtain special permission from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to stay with the rest of the cast. She filed the necessary paperwork with ICE requesting authorization to relocate temporarily for filming purposes. However, the approval process would have extended beyond the production timeline, forcing Delvey to accept the separate housing arrangement for the duration of filming.

This accommodation requirement stems from Delvey's complex legal situation. She was arrested in 2017 during a California operation for defrauding banks and hotels of approximately $275,000. Following her conviction, Delvey served prison time from 2019 to 2021. Upon her release from prison, she was immediately detained by ICE for overstaying her visa. In 2022, authorities released her to home confinement while she continues to contest deportation proceedings.

The 'Unwell Winter Games' filming represents the second time Delvey has navigated the ICE approval process for a television appearance. She previously underwent similar procedures when participating in 'Dancing with the Stars,' though her tenure on that program proved brief as she was eliminated early in the competition.

The separate housing arrangement underscores the ongoing restrictions Delvey faces as she remains under federal supervision. While she has been granted permission to participate in entertainment projects, her movements and living situations continue to require advance approval from immigration authorities. The ankle monitoring device she wears serves as a constant reminder of her legal obligations and the conditions of her conditional release.

Despite these logistical complications, production sources indicate that filming proceeded as planned, with Delvey commuting between her approved lodging and the main filming location to participate in the show's activities alongside her fellow contestants.
