Alan Ritchson, star of the Amazon Prime series "Reacher," is under investigation by law enforcement following an alleged physical altercation with a neighbor in a Nashville suburb on Sunday afternoon. The incident, which was reportedly captured on video, has resulted in allegations of assault.
According to the alleged victim, Ronnie Taylor, the confrontation occurred around noon on Sunday in a quiet, affluent Nashville-area neighborhood. Taylor reported to police that the incident began when Ritchson rode through the area on a green Kawasaki motorcycle accompanied by two children on their own motorbikes.
Taylor claims the dispute originated the previous day, on Saturday, when he observed Ritchson riding at what he described as excessive speed while revving the engine and disturbing the peace of the residential area. Taylor admits he made an obscene gesture toward the actor, which was allegedly reciprocated.
When Ritchson returned to the neighborhood on Sunday, Taylor says he approached the actor and stated, "Can you f**king stop this please." According to Taylor's account provided to police, the situation escalated into physical violence at that point.
Taylor reported to authorities that Ritchson punched him in the face and kicked him, then fell off his motorcycle before getting back up and attempting to run him off. During the ensuing altercation, Taylor claims Ritchson struck him in the back of the head and hit him at least four times while he was on the ground. The alleged victim says he sustained bruises and swelling from the encounter but did not seek hospital treatment.
Video footage of the incident shows what appears to be a physical confrontation between two men, with children on motorbikes visible in the vicinity. Taylor told authorities that neighbors witnessed the altercation. Following the incident, Ritchson allegedly rode away from the scene.
Law enforcement sources have confirmed that an investigation is underway regarding the incident between both parties. As of Sunday evening, no arrests had been made in connection with the case.
Representatives for Ritchson have not responded to requests for comment regarding the allegations. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities review evidence and witness statements from the Sunday afternoon incident.
