90 Day Fiancé Star Battles Ex Over Custody

A contentious custody dispute has emerged between former "90 Day Fiancé" cast members Thais Ramone and Patrick Mendes, with court filings revealing sharp disagreements over the care of their young daughter and financial arrangements following their separation.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Ramone has formally objected to Mendes being awarded primary custody of their child. In her filing, she is requesting that he provide monthly payments for both child and spousal support. The couple shares one daughter, who was born in November 2023.

In the court documents, Ramone acknowledged that the marriage has irretrievably broken down with no possibility of reconciliation. The reality television personality has proposed a joint legal and physical custody arrangement for their daughter, rather than the primary custody arrangement Mendes has sought.

The financial disclosures in the divorce proceedings reveal a significant income disparity between the former spouses. Mendes reported earning approximately ten thousand dollars monthly, while Ramone indicated her income is roughly half that amount. In his initial petition, Mendes stated he was not seeking child or spousal support from his estranged wife.

The couple married in February 2022, and their relationship was documented on the popular reality television series. Mendes has also requested the court award him specific assets from the marriage, including eight thousand dollars he claims to have in his 401K retirement account, a Honda Ridgeline vehicle, and a Tempur-Pedic mattress.

The divorce proceedings follow a domestic incident that resulted in Ramone's arrest. She was taken into custody after allegedly slapping Mendes during an argument at their Las Vegas residence. However, prosecutors ultimately declined to pursue charges in the matter.

A representative for the couple issued a statement to TMZ addressing the situation: "Domestic matters can be deeply emotional and complex, and we encourage compassion, privacy, and due process for all parties involved. Our focus right now is simply ensuring that everyone is safe and supported. We appreciate the public's understanding and ask for respect regarding their family and personal privacy during this time."

The custody battle represents the latest chapter in what has become a highly publicized dissolution of marriage for the reality television personalities. As the legal proceedings continue, the primary focus remains on determining the best arrangement for their young daughter while resolving financial matters between the separating spouses.
