A hairstylist has filed a lawsuit against YouTuber Kayla Nicole Jones, alleging the social media personality assaulted her during a professional engagement in Los Angeles in 2024.
Hanissatou Adam, who operates professionally under the name Nissa The Super Stylist, filed the legal complaint claiming Jones struck her in the eye during what was supposed to be a routine work assignment. The alleged incident occurred while Adam was providing hairstyling services during a music video production.
According to the lawsuit, tensions escalated when Adam asked questions that Jones reportedly found objectionable. Adam alleges Jones threatened to slap her if she did not cease her inquiries. The situation deteriorated the following day after a lengthy music video shoot, when Adam claims she overheard Jones complaining about her conduct.
The hairstylist maintains she attempted to address the situation in what she describes as a calm and reasonable manner. However, she alleges Jones became increasingly agitated and ultimately swung her arm in an intentional manner, making contact with Adam's eye.
Following the alleged assault, Adam states she retreated to her room in the shared Airbnb accommodation and contacted a friend for transportation. While awaiting her departure, she claims Jones continued to direct obscenities at her through the closed door.
The lawsuit seeks damages for assault, battery, and emotional distress. Jones, who commands a substantial social media following across multiple platforms, has not yet responded to requests for comment regarding the allegations.
