A federal jury delivered guilty verdicts on Monday, March 9, against three brothers charged with sex trafficking and related offenses following a five-week trial that exposed a pattern of alleged predatory behavior spanning more than a decade.

Tal Alexander, 39, and his younger twin brothers Oren and Alon Alexander, both 38, were convicted on 10 total counts related to sex trafficking, including conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and inducement to travel to engage in unlawful sexual activity. The jury heard testimony from 11 women who described being attacked, sexually assaulted, and drugged by one or more of the defendants between 2008 and 2021.

The brothers face minimum sentences of 15 years with the possibility of life in prison. Judge Valerie Caprioni has scheduled sentencing for Thursday, August 6.

Pattern of Alleged Abuse at Luxury Destinations

According to prosecutors, the Alexander brothers operated a sophisticated scheme that lured women to high-end destinations including Aspen and the Hamptons. Two of the brothers, Oren and Tal, worked as luxury real estate brokers for Douglas Elliman before establishing their own firm, Official. Alon worked at the family's private security firm.

The prosecution presented evidence that the brothers, along with other men, allegedly drugged and raped women at these exclusive locations. While 11 women testified during the trial, prosecutors indicated that more than 60 women have come forward with allegations against one or more of the Alexander brothers.

Throughout the proceedings, the defendants maintained their innocence and pleaded not guilty to all charges. Their defense attorneys argued that the alleged victims testified out of shame over consensual encounters and pointed to the absence of toxicology reports, medical records, and contemporaneous police reports as evidence supporting their clients' claims of innocence.

Specific Convictions and Victims

All three brothers were found guilty of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion related to an alleged rape in the Hamptons in 2016. Most alleged victims used pseudonyms when testifying to protect their identities.

Tal and Alon were convicted of sex trafficking a minor following an alleged attack on a then-16-year-old victim in the Hamptons in 2009. The twins also faced convictions for aggravated sexual abuse and sexual abuse stemming from testimony by a woman who claimed she was drugged and raped during a cruise from Miami to the Bahamas in 2012.

Tal was found guilty of sex trafficking related to the alleged rape of Lindsey Acree in the Hamptons in 2011. Acree is one of two women who filed civil lawsuits against the defendants. He was also convicted of sex trafficking and inducing another woman to travel for unlawful sexual activity following an alleged 2014 attack in the Hamptons.

Oren faced an additional conviction for sexual exploitation of a minor after a woman testified that he drugged and raped her when she was 17 years old and allegedly filmed the assault.

Catalyst for Additional Allegations

The case gained momentum after Australian woman Kate Whiteman accused Oren and Alon of rape in March 2024, alleging an incident that occurred in 2012. Her allegations served as a catalyst that encouraged numerous other women to come forward with their own accounts of alleged sexual assault by the Alexander brothers. Whiteman died in late 2025, with the Coroner's Court of New South Wales confirming to NBC News on January 23 that her death was non-suspicious.

During the trial, additional allegations emerged. Tracy Tutor, a personality from the television program Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles, filed a lawsuit on Thursday, March 5, claiming that Oren allegedly drugged and assaulted her in 2014. Oren's attorney Jason Goldman denied the allegations, characterizing the lawsuit as an attempt to create headlines and influence jury deliberations.

One witness, who identified herself as the daughter of a billionaire, testified that financial compensation was not her motivation. She stated her primary goal was to prevent the defendants from benefiting from their alleged crimes.

The convictions represent a significant outcome in a case that has drawn national attention to issues of sex trafficking and abuse of power in elite social circles. The August sentencing hearing will determine the final consequences for the three brothers.
