Shekinah Garner, known for her appearance on '90 Day Fiancé,' has filed a request for spousal support and attorney's fees in her ongoing divorce from Sarper Güven, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The filing, reported on November 8, 2026, states that Garner is asking the court to order Güven to pay $6,189 per month in spousal support and $35,000 in attorney's fees and costs.
In the documents, Garner claims she placed her esthetician business on the back burner to support Güven's comedy career. She says that over a two-year period before Güven's U.S. visa was approved, she traveled to Turkey every two months, staying for approximately three weeks each time. According to Garner, these trips were costly, and she would close her facial studio while she was away, which she claims caused her business to take a major hit.
Garner also asserts that Güven's career flourished during this time. She points to their joint federal tax return, which she says shows his comedy business grossed over $280,000, including $180,000 in net profit. In contrast, Garner states that her own business reported a net loss of $51,000.
The couple's divorce has been contentious. Garner filed for divorce in September, citing irreconcilable differences. She has also publicly discussed the breakdown of their marriage on social media, stating that she remained faithful despite hearing that Güven was on dating apps and had been seen with other women.
In a previous statement to TMZ, Garner said, "Filing for divorce was not a decision I made lightly or without heartbreak, but I've reached a point of no return. I'm choosing to let go with love, grieve what I believed we could have been, and begin moving forward with my life."
The request for spousal support and attorney's fees is now before the court, and Güven has not publicly responded to the filing. The case continues to unfold as both parties navigate the legal and personal aftermath of their split.
