Leven Rambin, known for her role on Fire Country, has chosen to share an intimate aspect of her personal life with her social media followers: her decision to pursue in vitro fertilization at age 36.

In a Friday, June 5 TikTok video, the actress addressed the varied reactions to her age and fertility plans. "I'm going to talk to you a little bit about why I'm going to do IVF at 36 years old," Rambin stated in the video. "Some of y'all think it's kind of young. Some of y'all think it's kind of old. Depends on who you talk to. Depends on what doctor you talk to. One doctor said I was old and barren and decrepit. The other one said I was the youngest patient she's had. So it really depends on what environment you're in."

The stark contrast in medical opinions Rambin encountered highlights a broader issue many women face when navigating fertility decisions. The actress expressed regret about not freezing her eggs earlier in life, when she was single and felt less time pressure. Rambin married Dawson Smith in 2025.

"Because now I would have those eggs and they could just mix 'em up. That being said, I am a good candidate for natural still," she explained in the video. "However, I feel like I'm just waiting for this. I feel like I've run out of patience — it's not a strong suit, and I want to continue to act and go on sets and be away for months at a time. So, I can't be hanging around my husband all the time."

Rambin's decision to pursue IVF reflects both her professional ambitions and her desire to take control of her fertility timeline. The actress revealed she is scheduled to undergo surgery for endometriosis, a procedure that serves a dual purpose: addressing a medical condition while potentially securing an infertility diagnosis necessary for insurance coverage of IVF treatments.

The actress expressed gratitude for the supportive response from her followers. "You've been so supportive and so many comments of like, 'I did IVF.' And just sharing your stories, so thank you," she said. "I think it's a fascinating topic, a fascinating journey and I want to share it with you guys. So stick around for more updates."

She captioned the video: "Y'all are so helpful and supportive thanks ladies xx #ivf #endo #fertility #fyp."

Days before the Friday post, Rambin shared another video filmed after a gynecologist appointment. In that earlier TikTok, she recounted that her doctor had told her she was within the average range for women getting pregnant and that her body was normal. The physician indicated that while natural conception could occur, IVF remained an option for efficiency. Rambin also mentioned that her doctor recommended the endometriosis diagnostic surgery and noted that the optimal time for conception would be immediately following that procedure.

By documenting her fertility journey publicly, Rambin joins a growing number of women in the entertainment industry who are using their platforms to destigmatize conversations about reproductive health challenges. Her transparency about the medical consultations, insurance considerations, and emotional aspects of the process provides valuable insight for others navigating similar decisions.
