JPMorgan Executive Harassment Lawsuit: Plaintiff Seeks Anonymity Amid Threats

A lawsuit alleging sexual harassment against JPMorgan Chase executive Lorne Hajdini has taken a significant turn as the plaintiff seeks court permission to proceed anonymously, citing serious threats against himself and his family.

According to court documents filed on Tuesday, May 6, 2026, the unidentified plaintiff, currently listed as John Doe, has formally requested that the court keep his name sealed and not compel him to reveal his identity publicly. The motion represents an unusual step in employment litigation, typically reserved for cases involving particularly sensitive circumstances.

The plaintiff's filing details a pattern of intimidation that began in September 2025, when his family allegedly received threatening text messages. The harassment escalated to include threatening phone calls and text messages directed at the plaintiff himself, with some communications specifically involving immigration matters and threatening to involve federal immigration authorities against members of his life.

Beyond the external threats, the court documents reveal the psychological toll the alleged workplace harassment has taken on the plaintiff. Since leaving his position at the bank, John Doe reports consulting with multiple medical professionals and receiving a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder. His symptoms include recurrent nightmares, intrusive flashbacks, and physical manifestations such as the inability to eat or exercise properly.

The plaintiff's request for anonymity also cites professional concerns specific to his industry. Working in what he describes as the small, relationship-driven financial sector, he argues that public identification could irreparably damage his career prospects and professional relationships.

The underlying lawsuit contains serious allegations against Hajdini, claiming she harassed John Doe during his employment at JPMorgan Chase. The plaintiff alleges that Hajdini demanded he perform sex acts on her or face professional consequences, and that she made him perform what he characterizes as non-consensual and humiliating acts.

Both Hajdini and JPMorgan Chase have vigorously denied the allegations. Lorna's attorney issued a categorical denial, stating that she never engaged in any inappropriate conduct with the individual and has never even been to the location where the alleged sexual assault supposedly took place.

A spokesperson for JPMorgan Chase provided additional context regarding the bank's internal investigation. The statement noted that following their investigation, the bank does not believe there is merit to the claims. The spokesperson emphasized that while numerous employees cooperated with the investigation, the complainant refused to participate and has declined to provide facts that would be central to supporting his allegations.

The case highlights the complex intersection of workplace harassment claims, personal safety concerns, and the tension between public transparency in legal proceedings and individual privacy rights. Courts generally require plaintiffs to proceed under their real names, but exceptions are granted in cases involving credible threats, sensitive personal matters, or when anonymity serves a compelling public interest.

The court has not yet ruled on the motion to proceed anonymously. Legal experts note that the documented threats and medical diagnosis may strengthen the plaintiff's argument for maintaining sealed identity, though such requests face scrutiny to ensure they are not used to shield frivolous claims from public accountability.
