Former reality television personality Audrina Patridge has revealed she remains open to the possibility of marriage as her relationship with country music singer Michael Ray continues to flourish. The 40-year-old star made the candid admission during an exclusive interview on Friday, May 1, while attending Calamigos Ranch Resort & Spa's Leading Hotels of the World accreditation celebration.

When asked about the prospect of another engagement, Patridge expressed cautious optimism grounded in past experiences. Her willingness to consider marriage again represents a significant emotional milestone following her previous divorce from Corey Bohan, to whom she was married from 2016 to 2018. The former couple shares a 9-year-old daughter, Kirra.

"I'm open to it," Patridge stated during the interview. "I think when you find someone that actually clicks and makes you happy, and we've both been through divorces and all of that, I think we know what not to do and what we want."

The acknowledgment that both partners bring valuable lessons from previous marriages adds depth to their current relationship. Ray, 38, was previously married to fellow country artist Carly Pearce, whom he wed in October 2019. That union ended in divorce one year later, providing the singer with his own perspective on what makes a successful partnership.

Patridge and Ray confirmed their relationship in July 2024, though the television personality emphasized they are proceeding at a measured pace. This deliberate approach reflects a maturity born from experience and a desire to build a solid foundation before making any permanent commitments.

"We're not rushing into anything. We just love each other and are taking it easy," Patridge explained. She offered insight into their private dynamic, noting that Ray values discretion in their relationship. "I feel like Michael is very private. When we are together, we're just so present and we usually just stay in at the house or cook dinner."

The couple faces the additional challenge of maintaining a long-distance relationship, with Ray currently based in North Carolina while Patridge resides in California with her daughter. Despite the geographic separation, they have developed strategies to nurture their connection through regular visits and thoughtful gestures.

Patridge recently demonstrated her commitment by organizing a surprise birthday celebration for Ray. "I actually surprised him for his birthday on Wednesday, and flew out to Georgia and took him to this Dunya Camp, which is incredible," she revealed. The effort underscores the couple's dedication to making their relationship work despite the distance. "It's long distance. I'll fly out there, He'll fly here. We make it work."

The relationship represents an unexpected turn for Patridge, who had previously embraced single life and focused on raising her daughter. Her mindset shifted dramatically upon meeting the country singer, illustrating how genuine connection can alter even the most resolute plans.

"When I met Michael, it was very unexpected," Patridge explained. "I was kind of in that mindset of, 'I don't need a guy. I'm happy being alone. It's me and my daughter, girl power. We're gonna travel the world.' And then I met Michael, and we just clicked with our chemistry. He's my best friend and we're inseparable."

Patridge first gained widespread recognition in 2006 when she appeared on MTV's The Hills alongside Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari, Heidi Montag, and Spencer Pratt. The reality series documented the personal and professional lives of young women navigating Los Angeles, becoming a cultural phenomenon that defined an era of reality television.

Most of the original cast reunited for The Hills: New Beginnings in 2019, offering viewers a glimpse into their evolved lives. Patridge reflected positively on the revival experience while acknowledging the natural changes that come with maturity and family responsibilities.

"That was a whole different kind of show, [but] it was still fun," Patridge noted. She expressed openness to participating in another reunion project, though she acknowledged the reality would differ from their younger years. "I'm not opposed. Now that I think we're all older, we have families [and] we have kids, our lives are very different than it was. It's not as crazy and exciting at first."

As Patridge navigates this new chapter in her personal life, her approach reflects a balance between openness to love and the wisdom gained from past experiences. While wedding bells may ring in the future, the couple appears focused on building a strong relationship foundation that can withstand both geographic distance and the complexities of blended family life.
