Actress Tori Spelling and seven children in her vehicle were hospitalized Thursday following a serious collision in Temecula, according to law enforcement sources.

Officers responded to the scene on Thursday, April 2, after the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star was involved in a crash with another vehicle. Spelling, 52, was transporting seven children at the time of the incident—four of her own children and three others—when her SUV was struck by a vehicle that allegedly ran a red light.

According to law enforcement sources, Spelling may have prevented more serious injuries through a last-second maneuver to move her vehicle out of the path of the oncoming car. All occupants from both vehicles were evaluated at the scene by emergency medical personnel. No arrests were made in connection with the collision.

Spelling and the seven children were transported to a local hospital in three separate ambulances. Medical personnel treated the group for cuts, bruises, contusions, and concussions. Footage from the aftermath of the crash showed Spelling speaking with law enforcement officers in front of her damaged SUV.

The actress shares five children with her former husband, Dean McDermott: Liam Aaron, 18, Stella Doreen, 16, Hattie Margaret, 14, Finn Davey, 13, and Beau Dean, 8. It remains unclear which four of her children were present in the vehicle at the time of the collision. Spelling and McDermott, 59, finalized their divorce in December 2025 after 17 years of marriage.

This incident marks the second significant vehicle collision involving the actress. In 2011, while pregnant, Spelling was involved in a crash at her children's elementary school. At that time, she stated she was attempting to evade paparazzi photographers when she accidentally reversed into a school wall with two of her children in the vehicle.

During a July 2011 appearance on Good Morning America, Spelling addressed the earlier incident, stating that while the accident was her responsibility, it had been induced by the presence of photographers. She faced no charges in connection with that collision.

Representatives for Spelling have not yet responded to requests for comment regarding Thursday's accident in Temecula. The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
